Every single sock deserves a second chance

We want the odd socks, the singles. The lonely socks that got separated from their former sock partners through some laundry divorce. We’ll pair them up and redistribute them to the homeless.

Please let us have your odd socks. Ask at your work, homes, or everywhere.

Every single sock deserves a second chance!

It’s time to get rid of your odd socks…

Almost everybody has orphan socks – the lonely laundry survivors… The Odd Socks Project is a brand new initiative that collects all the orphan socks. We then match them up by size and fabric to make funky pairs of odd socks that we then distribute to the homeless.

The Odd Socks Project kicked off towards the end of June 2019 and has to date collected over 8000 single socks. The public also got involved and there are now more than 50 collection points across South Africa, to which we are adding all the time.

It costs no money to support us. Please share to your family and friends and see how you can get involved.
